Ask your AI assistant about our tours

MudShark has its own connector for AI assistants. Add it to Claude or ChatGPT once, and the assistant can look up our tours, prices and free dates for you, straight from the booking calendar.

The connector address

Claude and ChatGPT both ask for this address. There is no sign-in and no key.

Any other assistant that can add a remote MCP server takes the same address.

In Claude

  1. Open Customize, then Connectors.

  2. Press +, choose Add custom connector, name it MudShark and paste the address above.

  3. In a chat, open the + menu and switch MudShark on.

Custom connectors work on every Claude plan. A Free account can have one. On a Team or Enterprise plan, your workspace owner has to add it first.

In ChatGPT

  1. On chatgpt.com, open Plugins and press +. If there is no option for a custom MCP server, turn on Developer mode in Settings (under Security and login, or in some versions under Apps, then Advanced settings) and come back.

  2. Choose Create MCP App (or Add custom MCP server), name it MudShark, paste the address above and choose No authentication.

This works on ChatGPT's website with a paid plan; a free account cannot add a custom server. On a Business or Enterprise workspace, an admin may have to allow it first. ChatGPT renames these menus now and then, but the address above stays the same.

Once it is switched on, ask the way you would ask us:

  • Is the Golden Circle free next Tuesday, and what does it cost for four people?
  • Which tours run in winter, and how long does each one take?
  • What should we wear for Landmannalaugar, and what happens if the weather turns?

The assistant can look up tours, prices and free dates and hand you a booking link. It cannot book or pay: you finish the booking yourself, on mudshark.is.
