Accessibility statement
Last updated
MudShark wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard or magnification.
1.Standard
The site is built to meet WCAG 2.2 at level AA. It partially conforms: the known exceptions are listed below.
2.How it is tested
- Every page template is tested automatically with axe, in both languages and at both desktop and phone sizes. The test runs on every change, and a change that fails it is not released.
- Every colour pairing on the site is measured and meets the AA contrast requirement.
- Everything on the site works with a keyboard alone. Animation stops if your device is set to reduce motion.
- Photographs have text describing what they show.
3.Known limitations
- Guest reviews appear in English, as they were written. They are marked as English so a screen reader pronounces them correctly on the Icelandic pages.
- Tripadvisor, Facebook and Instagram are outside this site, and we do not control their accessibility.
- Automated tests do not catch everything. The site has not yet been tested by people who use a screen reader every day.
4.Tell us
If anything on the site does not work for you, email mudshark@mudshark.is or call +354 691 1849. We reply within 24–48 hours and can give you the information another way if you need it.
