A one-vehicle operation from Hella, in South Iceland. Six guests maximum, always a private group, with Magnús at the wheel.

The guide

Magnús H. Jóhannsson holds a PhD in botany and ecology. That is why a MudShark day is an educational experience as well as a fun trip with a knowledgeable guide. He is passionate about his country and landscapes and loves telling stories!

How it runs

One private super-jeep, six seats. We pick you up in the Hella–Hvolsvöllur region at no extra cost. A private tour creates space for a genuine connection. We get to know each other, share stories and discover Iceland at a pace that feels right for you. Those personal moments often become just as memorable as the landscapes themselves.
