Super jeep tour to Þórsmörk
It doesn´t matter what the weather is like, Thorsmork (Þórsmörk in Icelandic) is always wonderful, only 64km from Hella. The closer you get to Þórsmörk, the tougher it gets. The road gets increasingly bumpier and difficult and many rivers need to be forded.
On the way we stop at Gígjökull glacier viewing the geological formations left by the flooding during the eruption in Eyjafjallajökull glacier in 2010. We also stop by Nauthúsagil “Cowshed canyon” and Stakkholtsgjá crevice. If you´re up for it, a hike up Valahnúkur mountain is perfect for a good 360 degree view!
Stunning colors and super motives for the eye or camera. Bring appropriate clothing and lunch.
