Highland scenery and fishing tour

Have you ever thought it might be interesting to try to fish in an Icelandic pristine lake? Well, this might be your opportunity. The idea behind this MudShark-tour is to offer our guests the opportunity to fish in our splendid highland-lakes. It won´t be a whole day of fishing, but a mix of sightseeing and story-telling along the way up to the mountains and about 3-5 hours of fishing for brown trout and arctic char. You will be guided by an experienced Icelandic angler who will fill your heads with all kinds of stories about the environment, farmers and fishermen.

The tour is quite appropriate for families. Easy fishing for all! 

We pick you up at your hotel on our Land Rover Super Jeep and head into the mountains. We will stop by a few interesting waterfalls and enjoy the scenery on the way. The more we stop, the less we fish - it´s your call. There are many lakes that we can fish in and depends entirely on availability each day. Possible lakes are Lake Frostastaðavatn (arctic char), Lake Ljótipollur (brown trout), Lake Dómadalsvatn (arctic char) and possibly others. 

You will be provided with all the fishing gear you need.
